Glass Fiber Posts, Conical, 10 pieces

The glass fiber posts are used in dental offices for reliable and long-lasting retention of the coronal structures of endodontically treated teeth. They have a radio-opaque color and cylindrical shape.

Fiberglass will prevent the pivot from breaking, as it is very adaptable, and will not transmit stress and shocks to the dentine, like hard metal posts. The dental post will work with the dentin to absorb any stress or shock and has about the same elasticity as the dentin itself. The composite material will form a bond with the cement and composite used for reconstruction.
