Heimlich valve with collecting bag, for thoracic drainage

The anti-reflux Heimlich valve with collection bag is used in thoracic drainage. This prevents the flow of air to the patient and allows drainage while also preventing the catheter from tightening. This product contains polystyrene and PVC. All materials are medical grade, non-toxic and do not contain harmful inks. Degradation of materials after use must be carried out in accordance with national and European norms. The Heimlich type valve consists of a plastic body with a double conical connection in which there is a "Latex free" membrane that works as a unidirectional membrane. The unidirectional Heimlich valve comes in 2 forms: the standard valve and the valve with a collection bag. The Heimlich valve with bag for collecting drained liquids is equipped with a 50 cm connection tube, constituting a closed drainage system. The collection bag is equipped with an anti-reflux valve, has a capacity of 600 ml and a discharge valve. The bag is directly connected to the Heimlich valve through a 50 cm long "Latex free" synthetic rubber tube. Indications for use: for the elimination of pneumothorax and drainage, without the return of air into the patient's pleura. The valve provided with the bag allows obtaining a closed drainage that guarantees the safety and practicality of the entire procedure.
