Ionosit baseliner for obturations is a photopolymerizable compomer material indicated as a base layer (liner) under ceramic amalgam composite fillings. Its active chemistry compensates for the typical contraction of composite fillings, prevents the appearance of cracks and post-operative sensitivity and minimizes microfractures. It is radio-opaque and releases fluoride over a long period of time and due to its zinc content and special monomers offers antibacterial properties.
