Simple Heimlich valve, for thoracic drainage

Simple anti-reflux Heimlich valve with application in thoracic drainage that prevents the flow of air to the patient and allows drainage while also preventing the tightening of the catheter. This product contains polystyrene. All materials are medical grade, non-toxic and do not contain harmful inks. Degradation of materials after use must be carried out in accordance with national and European norms. The Heimlich type valve consists of a plastic body with a double conical connection in which there is a "Latex free" membrane that works as a unidirectional membrane. The unidirectional Heimlich valve comes in 2 forms: the standard valve and the valve with a collection bag. The standard Heimlich valve consists of a polystyrene body equipped with a double universal connection to be able to adapt to any tube section, and a luer-lock connection. Inside there is a membrane made of "Latex free" synthetic material that works as a non-return valve and prevents the air that has just been evacuated from the patient to re-enter the pleura. Indications for use: for the elimination of pneumothorax and drainage, without the return of air into the patient's pleura. The valve provided with the bag allows obtaining a closed drainage that guarantees the safety and practicality of the entire procedure.
