Bonding adhesive i-BONDING, light curing, single component, 5ml

Bonding adhesive i-BONDING 5ml is used to bond dentin and enamel to polymer-based restorative materials, compomers, and ceramic surfaces to improve retention of a restoration. i-BONDING LCN is a 5th generation light curing, bioinert, single component one-step adhesive, suitable for use with wet bonding technique. Etching of the surfaces is required. Composition: Methacrylate mixture 55-95%, acetone 10-30%, conditioner 1-10%, co-initiator <5%, accelerator <1%, inhibitor <1%, photoinitiator <1%. i-BONDING LCN does not contain medicinal substance, including human blood or plasma derivate; tissues or cells, or their derivates, of human origin; tissues or cells of animal origin, or their derivates, as referred to in Regulation (EU) No. 722/2012; substances which are carcinogenic, mutagenic, toxic to reproduction or having endocrine-disrupting properties. PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS: Light curing: 20 s; Shear bond strength (enamel): 21.8 ±2.4 MPa. Instructions of use: i-BONDING LCN helps to restore/improve the aesthetic appearance of the restorable tooth; helps to restore/maintain the dental function of the restorable tooth; helps to protect biological structures of the restorable tooth and adjacent tissues. i-BONDING LCN is designed to be used in dental offices where the ambient temperature is 18-25°C. 1. Prepare cavity as always. Cleaning with oil-free prophylaxis paste, such as i-FASTE is recommended. For deep cavities use a calcium hydroxide liner or glass ionomer-based cement. 2. Apply a layer of etching, such as i-GELN on all surfaces to be etched. Leave etch in place for 15 seconds (dentine), and 30 seconds (enamel). Rinse with water and dry with air. Avoid over-drying dentin. After drying, the surface must be chalky and not contaminated before applying the bonding resin. If the surface becomes contaminated with saliva, rinse and dry again and re-etch if necessary. 3. Shake the bottle before each use. 4. Delicate push on the bottle and dispense a small amount of adhesive into the cup. Do not force the bottle. 5. Using a fully saturated micro applicator apply 2-3 layers of adhesive onto the etched surface. 6. Dry with air for 10-20 seconds to dry all solvents from the surface. If the surface is not glossy, apply additional layers of adhesive and dry. 7. Curing with light for 20 seconds. Use LED polymerization lamp with light intensity 1200mW/cm2. Some lamps with higher intensity could require less polymerization time, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use. 8. Apply the light-curing restorative material layer, such as i-LIGHTN, i-XCITE LCN, or i-FLOWN into the cavity and finish restoration.
