Cytology fixative spray 250 ml

The cytology fixative spray contains isopropanol and polyethylene glycol. The solution is colorless and the bottle has 250 ml. Cytology Specimen Fixation Spray contains alcohol to preserve and transport cytology specimens. The product is designed to preserve smears of cellular material, such as Pap smears, for later staining. For Pap smear: 1. Label the patient identification on the glass side of the microscope blade. 2. Cover half of the glass slide with a piece of paper if you apply two samples to the same slide (one from the cervical scraper and one from the cytology brush). 3. Immediately after preparing the smear, hold the Cytology Fixative Spray container 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) away from the blade and possibly spray the entire smear by pressing the plunger 2-3 times. 4. Let the smear dry well before staining, performing cytochemical methods or other molecular biology detection methods, or sending the sample to the laboratory.
