Prophylaxis paste coarse grain, mint flavor contains only natural mint flavorings and no fluoride. The blends of abrasives used in the various grades are selected to maximize the removal of plaque and tartar without appreciable abrasion of enamel. The thixotropic properties are carefully controlled to ensure easy transfer to cup or brush without undesirable spattering at the rotation speeds used in prophylaxis. Indications: it is used for the removal of plaque and tartar from patients teeth. Should be used at 23 C.
