Flat Reels for Poupinel dry heat sterilization, made of transparent nylon, size 76mm x 30.5m, used to sterilize instruments. Instructions of use: Carefully clean and rinse the instruments to be sterilized. Allow the tools to dry completely. Cut a piece of the roll to the appropriate length, leaving 2.5 cm extra at each end for thermal sealing or 5 cm if sticking with adhesive tape. Heat seal or tape one end. Sealing process with adhesive tape: a. Fold the end 1.25cm and press to form a crease; b. Fold again 1.25cm and press to form a crease; c. Seal with a specific sterilization indicator by wrapping the entire package width, ensuring that the folded edge and the sides are completely sealed, without any space. Place the instruments in the package. A chemical indicator can be placed inside the bag or on the packaging (follow the manufacturer's instructions for the chemical indicator). Heat seal or tape the free end. Sterilize according to the manufacturer's instructions, without exceeding the recommended temperature or sterilization time. CAREFUL!!! Don't put the bags with tools directly on the nursery grill! They are placed in a sterilization box provided with a lid. CAREFUL!!! Do not insert wet instruments or water into the bag. The humidity of the instruments, the bag, or the sterilization indicator, irremediably leads to the explosion and burning of the packaging, and the carbonization of the sterilization indicator! Instruments must be dried before sterilization because humidity will affect the process. The optimal time and temperature for sterilization with dry heat is 160°C (320°F) for 2 hours, and 170°C (340°F) for 1 hour. Do not use a temperature higher than 170°C (340°F) even if you reduce the sterilization time. The immediate effect is the destruction of the sterilized objects, the packaging, and the sterilization indicator.
