Silver dressing, 10x10 cm, 5 pieces

The dressing is sterile and adhesive, made of elastic non-woven material. The bandage has an absorbent area in the central part with a silver coating. The silver has antibacterial properties and is effective against a wide spectrum of bacteria. It combines the advantages of an absorbent dressing with those of a dressing with a bactericidal effect. The active layer regulates the level of humidity and prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound, so the dressing can be changed without pain. The dressing must be changed as often as needed; in general, at least 1-2 times a week (in the case of wounds with a normal level of exudate) or every day (in the case of wounds with a high level of exudate). It is used in the treatment of wounds with dry and soft necrosis (with liquid), such as: - escape; - leg ulcers; - first and second degree burns. The dressings are recommended for the local treatment of acute and hard-to-heal wounds, including infected ones, as well as for the prevention of infection of clean wounds and grafts. They are not recommended for patients with sensitivity / allergy to silver. Remove the dressing for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures!
