Boric alcohol 4% (20 g), produced by Hippocrates, is a disinfectant solution, recommended for external use, ideal for washing infected wounds. Boric alcohol 4% contains boric acid, a white powder that has an effective action on bacilli and especially pyocyanin, a microbe resistant to antibiotics. Boricat alcohol 4% is an exceptional local antiseptic, having the ability to favor the softening of earwax, being recommended for unclogging the ears, but also for preventing the development of bacteria inside them. Boricat alcohol 4% is ideal as an antiseptic for minor burns or cuts, being often used in dressings or ointments. This product also has beneficial results in vaginal washes, favoring the treatment of bacterial vaginosis, due to the excessive alkalinity.
