Fold 1.25 cm (½ inch) at the end of the pouch and press to form a crease. b. Fold again 1.25 cm (½ inch) and press to form another crease. c. Seal with indicator tape, ensuring the entire width is securely sealed and no gaps remain. 5. Insert Instruments: Place the clean, dry instruments inside the sterilization package. 6. Chemical Indicator: Optionally, place a chemical indicator inside the pouch or on the package (follow the manufacturer's instructions for chemical indicators). 7. Seal the Free End: Seal the open end of the package either thermally or with adhesive tape. 8. Sterilize: Follow the manufacturer's sterilization instructions carefully, ensuring that the recommended temperature and sterilization time are adhered to.
