The PRIMA cellulose pads, 5x4cm, 12 layers, medical use, 1000 pads/roll are made from dressing cellulose with a high degree of bleaching, without chlorine. The purpose of the bleaching process is to remove the dark-colored lignin residues from the pulp so that the pulp is of high quality. For environmental protection and quality assurance, molecular chlorine and hypochlorite have been replaced by other bleaching chemicals such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, ozone, and peroxyacids. Cellulose tampons have a high resistance to toxic substances and absorb liquid substances well. Material Composition: 12 layers high creped special cellulose. Material Weight: 18,0 (±2,0) g/m². Cellulose swabs are used for cleaning the skin before injections, removal of adhesive bandage remainders, and as an absorbent pad on small injuries. Also used as a padding material in connection with catheters and vein flow. An application on a wound with severed dermis is not intended.
